City and Guilds 2392-10 Certificate in Fundamental Inspection, Testing and Initial Verification is the qualification which is specifically aimed at electricians and others who have a limited or no experience in carrying out initial verification and additionally, carrying out functional testing and
interpreting test results. City and Guilds 2392-10 is structured and designed to provide candidates with the skills and underpinning knowledge to confidently undertake the practical assessment. The City and Guilds 2392-10 course contains a significant number of “hands on”
workshop style sessions, which cover all of the processes involved in initial verification, and functional testing.
The 2392-10 references the requirements of the 17th Edition of the Wiring Regulations (BS7671:2008/2016) and is restricted to initial verification only.
City and Guilds 2392-10 is an excellent preparation for delegates who are considering undertaking the challenges offered by the qualification, City and Guilds 2395-01 Level 3 Certificate in Periodic Test and Inspection. City and Guilds 2392-10 is particularly beneficial for electricians who are about to
undertake external assessments for the purposes of Part P registration by a competent person’s scheme assessor, or for the assessment by the NICEIC’s/ELECSA/NAPIT inspecting engineer’s and any other organisations who are responsible for assessing competencies of applicants that are
